Industrial Visit

The MBA First Year and Second Year students organized an industrial visit to Mauli Agro Tourism Resort and the renowned Parle Products Factory. The visit aimed to give students insights into both the manufacturing sector and the service-based agro-tourism industry. The trip was carefully planned to ensure students could observe industrial processes, interact with professionals, and engage in team-building and recreational activities serving as an enriching learning experience outside the classroom environment.

Students visited Dynapac Road Construction, a company founded in 1934 in Sweden and a leading manufacturer of road construction equipment, specializing in compaction and paving solutions. In 2017, Dynapac became part of the French Fayat Group. The Indian subsidiary is located in Pune, Maharashtra. During the visit, students observed the manufacturing processes of various road construction equipment including soil and asphalt rollers, and witnessed the use of advanced technology in machinery design, emphasizing efficiency and safety in road construction.

As part of the academic curriculum, students of ASM Institute of Professional Studies (ASM IPS) visited PHN Technology, a well-known IT company recognized for its innovative work in the fields of automation, robotics, artificial intelligence, and software solutions. Industrial visits play a crucial role in bridging the gap between classroom learning and real-world exposure, enabling students to witness first-hand how theories and concepts studied in academics are practically applied in industries.

ASM’s IPS facilitated an industrial visit for first-year and second-year MBA students to Mamata Milk and Milk Product Pvt. Ltd. in Satara. The visit was organized with the aim of giving students insight into the production and operation processes of the industry and to enable them to gain practical knowledge of actual industrial working. It was an invaluable experience aligning with the institution’s commitment to holistic learning.

Pune Metro organized an experiential tour of the Sant Tukaram Metro Station followed by a focus group discussion to understand public perception towards the metro project. The session aimed to discuss and address any apprehensions while carefully incorporating public inputs for a more successful outcome. MBA students of ASM IPS participated in this unique civic and infrastructure-oriented visit.
